Riker will need a strong, dog savvy handler to help his continue his training skills. Ronnie was found out on the prairie. She was sick and very emaciated. She was brought into the Humane Society of Comanche County where she was cared for for about 3 months. Ronnie has severe separation anxiety and would tear out of her crate whenever she was left alone. Ronnie found the perfect dad who has worked with her to get her past her fears. They make a great team and I am so happy for Ronnie and her dad, Jackson. |

Flower was only here on the ranch for about a week. She and her old foster mom rode out the big weather maker we had a few weeks ago when a power pole fell into her house! The whole family had to leave immediately so Flower came to stay here until she got adopted. With that face and her incredible personality, she didn't have to wait long. She was adopted during her very first adoption event! Good luck, Flower! |

Boomer was adopted by a nice young man who needed a best friend. Boomer is living life now, as he lives in a house with a big backyard. He has a great hiking buddy too. So happy for you Boomer! Boomer was found as a stray. He was in the median on Hwy 62 between Cache and Indiahoma. He was a very scared boy when he first came to stay with us. I don't think he ever had a leash on him and he didn't have any manners at all. He would jump up on you, pull at the leash, run you over...all the things that young untrained dogs do. Now he is just the most polite young man. He walks well on a leash and know basic manners. He plays well with other dogs and is just a joy to be around. He is still a young dog with lots of fun energy, but knows how to settle down when needed. Oh, and he's huge! Big soccer ball head on him! He currently weighs 83 pounds. Boomer has heart worms. He is being treated and is expected to be just fine. Boomer can be adopted at any time and his treatment costs will be covered by the Humane Society of Comanche County. |

Rupert was adopted by a wonderful family from Tennessee! His new mom, Angie drove all the way to Oklahoma City to pick him up. She is a patient mom who understands Rupert's special needs. Rupert is coming along great in his new home. He is meeting new friends and is going through training. He will be ready to face the world soon. We are so happy for Rupert and his new family. Have a good life Rupert! I will always love you, Little Man. Rupert was found as a stray who had probably been hit by a car. He had a hairline fracture to his pelvis and femur. He also had road rash and lost his tail. He came to us a very frightened dog and he went through several weeks of relaxation, socialization and confidence building training. He is a wonderful dog who is very willing to please. He has a lot to learn in life and is looking for the perfect owner who can take things slowly and show him what the world has to offer a young, curious dog like Rupert. |
