Board and Train
Board and Train Dog Training offers clients a program that is convenient and beneficial for both dog and owner. In a board and train program your dog stays with us while we teach them how to be well mannered. After we finish this time frame working with your dog we will then work with you through private follow up lessons to make sure you are comfortable maintaining your dog’s new and improved behavior. Once the private lessons are completed you will be invited to participate in our Advanced Obedience and Rock The Walk classes for no additional cost. These classes ensure a very high level of success with your dog’s new training
During your dog’s time with us, he or she will learn:

Our Board and Train program is held at our facility which is located in Indiahoma, Oklahoma. The board and train facility is situated on 5 acres of prairie land. The ranch has a variety of livestock including donkeys, goats, pigs, chickens, turkeys and barn cats. These animals provide a great opportunity for working your dog through distractions and your dog will gain confidence as they navigate throughout the ranch. We spend time working on the ranch which allows your dog to become grounded in nature and encourages your dog's natural instincts of smelling and interacting with the various animals on the ranch.
We use essential oils to help calm dogs and to relieve the stress of being away from home. We also use essential oils and flower essences to help your dog relax, to focus and be calm during training sessions. We incorporate calming massages and relaxation techniques with our board and train dogs. We use exclusively AnimalEO essential oils and flower essences from Blackwing Farms.
Dogs are worked with daily and go on “field trips” as part of their stay so that the training and new behaviors can be generalized around lots of distractions before returning home to you.
If your dog has fear, anxiety or reactivity issues, board and train dog training can be a wonderful way to start on the path of helping your dog become a much better version of their true self.
In working with these special cases we focus not only on the obedience and manners aspect of training but truly take into account the whole dog. We also help guide your dog through various confidence-building exercises and incorporate them into our stable pack of other dogs to help improve social skills and communication. After your dog's completion of our board and train program, additional classes are available. You will receive free Group Advanced Obedience Classes which are held multiple times each month. In these classes you can come “polish up” on your dogs training. You will also receive lifetime access to our Rock The Walk pack walks. The Rock The Walk classes are out and about in the community so you can practice your dog’s new skills in the real world!
